This one-day workshop is targeted towards researchers and practitioners in wireless sensor networking for biomedical applications. By bringing together experience in biomedical applications with expertise in wireless devices and networking protocols, this workshop aims to foster inter-disciplinary research collaborations. The program features talks by leading experts from academia and industry, a panel discussion, as well as presentations by early career researchers and Ph.D. students. The workshop will provide a forum for discussions on future research directions, as well as an opportunity to network with researchers in the field.

Keynote speaker: Dr. Alison Burdett, Technology Director, Toumaz Technologies.
Toumaz is a UK-based company that manufactures ultra-low-power body-worn wireless sensor devices that enable continuous non-intrusive medical monitoring. Dr. Burdett has expertise in the design of wireless integrated circuits, and has authored over 50 academic publications in the field.
