I am always looking for strong students who are interested in data networking and computer systems. Please do not send me an email before you have "fully" read this page.

PhD students:

If you are interested in my research, please read some of my publications. You may then send me an email that:

  • starts with a sentence including the phrase "anzac-high-botany-barker" -- this indicates that you have fully read this page,
  • summarizes your academic achievements and work experiences,
  • demonstrates what you know about my research,
  • highlights important relevant courses you have completed,
  • explains why you want to do a PhD with me at UNSW Sydney.
We can proceed from there.

Masters students and Undergrads:

Please send me an email if you are interested in research, or learning more about data networking. A good way to get involved in my research is to take my class first.
